Who we are
Alessandro Slama, Pastry Chef, was born in Ischia and learned the art of leavening and sourdough from an early age. His passion for this profession led him to travel, acquiring many skills and abilities and becoming a technician and teacher for schools and companies.
He took part in many courses alongside important masters, from whom he learned new techniques and methodologies. In 2011 he won the first prize for bakery cake at the Sigep Bread Cup in Rimini.
In 2004 Ischia Pane was founded, a historical point of the island. In 2015 he opened, again in Ischia, a new point of sale, where the rule of sourdough always wins but with a touch of innovation. Today he is director of the start-up Dar Slama srl.
