Who we are

Located in Via Roma, between the archaeological excavations and the sanctuary of Pompeii, the De Vivo bakery has been in business for over 65 years, with two shops, a production facility and 70 employees.

 

Since the 1930s, the De Vivo grandparents had a renowned bakery where one fundamental rule applied: the use of sourdough and top-quality raw materials.

 

Sixty-five years and two generations later, the same rules still apply to the leavened products, cakes and ice-creams of the De Vivo bakery, now run by Marco De Vivo with the help of his wife Ester and Simona.

 

The De Vivo pastry shop offers its customers a vast production of typical Neapolitan products, made with passion and knowledge, delights in which to lose oneself in the softness of a pastiera, the crunchiness of a warm sfogliatella, or inebriate oneself with the scent of rum in a freshly-wet baba, but all distinguished by strict canons of craftsmanship, keeping the traditional recipes unchanged. The offer does not lack innovation and continuous research for high quality raw materials of our territory that represent the flavours, the smells, the history of our land of Campania.

 

This is our mission: we love our land and tell the story of our territory with our products.
